Richard Metzger

calls his site, Disinformation.com, "a portal to underground culture on the Net." He gathers the most interesting and outrageous conspiracy theories online, from the far left to the far right, even though he's not a conspiracy theorist. He says he just wants to be the tour guide.

"The Web," Metzger says, "is a marvelous medium for mischief making." In this sense, it continues a long tradition of a free, muckraking press, which has endured through this century. The Internet, he says, just makes it easier to find this stuff.

Paul Schindler talked with Metzger about Disinformation.com and the "Millennium Madness" of our time.
